week two

"Here is my secret. It is very simple: It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye."- The Little Prince (Antoine de Saint Exupéry) I often think about how I can see my reflection in my children; sadly, I cannot choose that they only see the best parts of me. As they grow I hope that the reflection they see of themselves is more than what they see on the surface, but something only they know when they listen carefully to themselves.
His tight grasp around my fingers is nothing close to the hold he has on my heart.

"I know exactly what you mean, Poet."

  2. I love the shot of the toys on the clothesline! My Dad used to say the teddies were going to Disneyland on the days they went in the washing machine and then hung out to dry.
