week four

Tamara
"The greatest secrets are always found in the most unlikely places." -- Roald Dahl  [Charlie and the Chocolate Factory]
Jodi
Stirring from sleep - beautiful, innocent (yet resisting on school mornings)
Claire
Amelia
I have learnt to let her hand go. Let her explore on her own. She will come back.
Kate
A typical day for me - marker scribbles, an under-dressed insistent toddler, and her forgiving sidekick.

Lou
And just like that, she is five.

Ali
The 7 & 8 year olds in the house have more of a social life than the adults.

  1. I love that under dressed little scribbler, I had a very similar scene here over the weekend and two little boys went off to school this morning with drawing still on their faces.

Claire, I was wondering if you painted Eulalie's bed and if you knew the paint colour? I am looking for the perfect mint to paint some drawers in our baby's nursery. Thanks x

    1. Hi Emma... gosh, now you've got me. I think I've still got the tin of paint somewhere under the house... will have a look tonight! (but if you could see the state of my 'underneath the house' you'd understand this mission could take a little longer! ;) x

    2. No worries, thank you anyway! I've got a huge selection of paint chips from the hardware, it seems mint isn't mint?! Don't want it to be too in your face green or not bright/too white you don't notice it's mint either. First world problems.
